Hello Good Humans & Sentient Beings!
The Full Moon occurs at 15° Scorpio on Friday May 5th, 2023 at 1:34pm in New York. It is the Flower Moon. The Moon is full when it is exactly 180° from the Sun. The full Moon heightens our emotional perceptions and our instincts. The full Moon lasts for the two weeks preceding the new Moon. It is the time to present completed projects to the public and receive feedback. During the full Moon cycle we have to balance home and family with career, what we want with what we need internally and externally. The aspects are an opposition to impulsive Uranus and a quincunx to wound revealer and healer Chiron. This will be a test to our emotional flexibility and the old wounds that condition how we respond to change. Uranus enlightens us to the personal freedoms we need to feel comfortable as an individual. Too many personal restrictions can lead to erratic behavior that alienates or upsets those close to you and creates distance, not the best way to establish your liberties. The key is to recognize the hurt and allow it to guide you to what you need now for healing. Think through your most important personal boundaries and how you communicate them to others. Be kind to yourself and others in the process of expressing them. If you’re feeling infringed upon ask yourself how you allowed your boundary to be crossed. Be accountable. Sometimes we let go of those boundaries and then have to reclaim them. That is not the fault of the other person but our own. So, before you scream, “Get out of my face, b$#@%!” Take a breather, walk, some gym time, yoga… Give yourself freedom in a positive way. While you are doing that you can have a talk with yourself about how you lowered your attention to this boundary and had it crossed. Easily upset people should be distanced. Remember this is their issue, not yours. Don’t take it personally. This is not a time to even playfully push someone’s buttons. Respect for feeling and respect for limits is required. Now, let’s take a look at another possibility. Some people put too many restrictions on themselves. They even limit their thoughts with fear and insecurities only to lash out at others under the pressure, the “last straw” syndrome. If you have a tendency to do this, it may be smart for you to loosen up, be flexible, prioritize and ease up on your personal restrictions.
On a social/political level this can have the oppressed protest. Those who have been overpowered will reveal their oppressors and bring to light old wounds that need healing. Those who have been used to getting away with their bad behavior or crimes will now be revealed as victims come forward publicly. This can take place on an individual or national level. I’m sure we will see some erratic reactions headlined in the press. Political wounds will have politicians projecting their hurts onto their opponents. Hopefully we, the people, can have the voice to speak up for our humanity and what we need from our representatives to preserve and protect our freedom and liberty with grace.
